Everyone Has a Superpower.
Superpower doesn't have to mean flying or living underwater, a superpower can mean understanding that one (or few) things you are incredibly good at. Everyone has them.
"Do I?" You find yourself thinking "Who is this woman who's telling me this? Let's see what she can do." You scoff as you continue to read this, just like I intended you to.
See, my superpower is listening.
Now, how is that a superpower? And how ironic that I'm sitting here typing while bragging about how I listen.
You're still reading, right?
I listen to people. I spend hours learning about their likes, dislikes, worries, doubts, excitement, everything. At the end of the day, every story can be boiled down to a simple emotion that we can all understand and empathize with. I take those stories and those emotions and aim to write things that people can relate to. Stories and articles that make them go "I didn't know how to express myself, but this is exactly how I felt"
For businesses, I listen to customers. As a consumer, I realized that a lot of businesses write their strategy from their perspective. It sounds simple, but I find the underlying emotional stress a business's customers face and then develop a voice for the brand and a strategy that taps into the emotional side of the businesses customers.
Customer centric strategy and copy if you will.
That's enough about me, you're probably here for a few reasons:
1) Because want to grow your business
2) You're interested to learn more about me
3) You're checking my 'street cred'
4) You want to see my writing samples
5) You want to read blog posts
